Milo Library Enhanced Curbside Pickup Service


Great News!
You can now place an online hold for library items. Only items currently located in Milo Library are available. Go to, sign in using your library card number and PIN (usually the last four numbers of your phone number). In the catalogue, click the search button, on the next page below the search button click advanced search, in the drop down menu in the second column under held at, select Milo Library and modify any other search criteria. You will now see only items available at Milo Library.  

For your protection, items will be set aside for a minimum of 72 hours before they are available for pickup. The library will remain closed to the public. Requests received by Friday will be available for pickup on Tuesday and requests received by Tuesday will be available Friday.

The Book Drop is open and it is important that you return library items as you will now incur fines for any overdue items.

You can still call (403-599-3850) or email to request items. Patrons can borrow up to 10 library items at a time.

COVID 19 Disclaimer

  • The COVID-19 virus can survive up to 24 hours on cardboard and up to 3 days on plastic and stainless steel. As books cannot be effectively cleaned and disinfected, it may be wise to store books for a minimum of 24 hours before handling them.
  • Patrons who are immune compromised or otherwise susceptible to COVID-19 infection should not take items from the library.
  • Patrons should wash hands before and after handling books and other items, avoid touching their faces while reading and avoid sneezing or coughing onto the page while reading.
